About us

Tucked into the rolling hills of West Virginia, our 250+ acres boast gorgeous fully-stocked fishing ponds and over six miles of hiking & biking trails. Our cabins and yurts each offer a fully stocked Keurig coffee maker, private outdoor hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, and hammock. Wood and charcoal are provided. Most rentals are pet friendly.

Booking/Cancellation Policy

!!SAME DAY BOOKING MUST BE DONE BY PHONE!!

Full payment required upon booking

  •  7 days advance notice of cancellation for 100% refund
  •  Between 3-6 days notice of cancellation for 50% refund
  •  Less than 3 days notice of cancellation, no refund available

We are a small family run company with only 5 rentals available. Due to the scale of our business, we are not able to easily book the rentals with short notice.

How we started

Walker Creek Farms began with a simple idea: to create a place where people could slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience West Virginia in its purest form. What started as a peaceful piece of land with a view turned into something much more—a getaway built on family values, honest work, and a love for the outdoors.



We built the first cabin by hand, not with speed in mind, but with care. From there, we added yurts, walking trails, and cozy spots to unplug, soak in the quiet, and watch the stars. Today, every guest who visits becomes a part of the story we’re still writing—one sunrise, one campfire, one restful stay at a time.
